Pypi page not fully rendered

Might be the markdown engine at pypi? Either way here is our page with unrendered markdown and here is another project.

Github wants markdown in README.md; pypi wants rest with README.rst.

Frankly I think it's all silly and we ought to just have a file called README like everything else outside the Github and Python worlds.
