Privacy Pass not working
Hello,
When I visit a cloudflare-protected site, the site gets stuck in a redirect loop, drains my captcha credits, and finally times out.
Please fix.
System (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows10
- Cloudflare tokens or hCaptcha tokens? hCaptcha
- Browser Chrome:
- Browser Version 102.0.5005.115 (Official Build) (64-bit)
- Privacy Pass Version Version 3.0.3
Additional context fuck cloudflare. fuck the privacy pass.
I have the same problem since June 17th. Win10, Firefox 101.01
unable to reproduce bad behaviour on Firefox 101.0.1 & Linux. Wondering if this is specific to Windows.
@Synetos33 what is website where you observed that behaviour?
Here's a site that fails for me: https://www.artandlife.gr/
Thanks for your reply @armfazh . I sent you an email with the web site that's problematic for me.
Thanks for your input on this too, @cbarak .
Hello, can this problem be fixed? Please help.
I'm also seeing this on macOS w/ Brave
Same thing on latest 103 Firefox, gets stuck in a loop. Also "get more passes" site captcha dot website does nothing after completing the hCaptcha
Same. See HAR file EDIT: This was for captcha.website and did not generate passes. I thought it was appropriate to send here.

Hi @ziproot, thanks for providing a .har! Do you use any extensions or custom config in the Tor Browser (I assume it's that browser since you linked #342)?
I am actually using the Debian verison of GNU IceCat (as shown in HAR file). This is related to Tor Browser though as it brings in most of the settings from there like privacy.resistFingerprinting. This was a default install without any extensions/custom config besides Privacy Pass. EDIT: Also, I tested Tor Browser on default install and same issue. EDIT 2: Here's the HAR file
The TOR Browser issue is separate, and we've recently addressed it, see https://github.com/privacypass/challenge-bypass-extension/issues/342.
Closing this issue in favor of #400, where a major reshape is being centralised to support IETF version.
