Horizontal scroll overflow and page break at footer - prisma.io/typescript
Description When scrolling to the bottom of the Prisma TypeScript page, the layout breaks immediately after the footer finishes rendering. At this point, an unexpected horizontal overflow appears, allowing the page to scroll to the right into completely blank whitespace.
This behavior occurs consistently and appears to be tied to the footer or an element rendered near the bottom of the page.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to https://www.prisma.io/typescript
- Scroll down to the very bottom of the page
- Observe the layout after the footer finishes rendering
- Attempt to scroll horizontally to the right
Expected Behavior The page should remain fully constrained within the viewport width, with no horizontal scrolling and no blank whitespace beyond the content.
Actual Behavior After the footer renders, the page width exceeds the viewport, causing horizontal scroll overflow and allowing users to scroll into empty space on the right.
Environment
- Browser and OS independent
- Reproducible on desktop
