Stop/Crash on Peaq tablets (android 13)
Just to let you know..
App-Version: 2.12.0 - installed via google-playstore Android: 13 (Secu 04/2024, Kernel 5.10.177). Vendor/Modell: PEAQ PET 101-H232E-13; "powered by 'go edition'" - whatever that means.
There's no visible error message, it just starts a white app canvas with pretix logo and couple seconds later it stops with a system popup that it has stopped.
It didn't even ask for permissions and adding Camera (+notification+microphone) didn't make it go further. Alsp reinstall, reboot to no avail. App-Info reports 36kB of data usage..
Sidenote: i've two identical tablets with the same google account configured. But removing it from one of the two doesn't change behaviour.
If I can access more details, tell me how to gather it.
If you're familiar with android development tools, grabbing an "adb log" with any stacktraces around the time of the crash would be helpful
IIRC "go edition" means "device with less than <2 GB RAM", so if it's just an out of memory crash, there's probably little we can do.
Have you tried pretixSCAN 3.0.0 for comparison? apk here: https://marketplace.pretix.eu/products/pretixscan-android/versions
Indeed it has "only" 2GB - didn't consider the app needs so much (if that was the case anyway)
and adb log would be via USB? - but well:
I tried the 3.0.0 shot and "das war ja einfach" - not only starts, but fully works!
