Update days and intervals are not honored

I set

Update interval: 30 minutes
Start time: 15:35
End time: 22:00
Update days: Thursday

Next fetch says 15:35 Thu. But it updates all days, every 30 minutes or 1 hour. Tonight's example: ..., 22:59, 23:30, 00:04, 00:39, (one was skipped here apparently), 01:22, 02:04, ... continued until now. These hours appear as Last fetch in the app.
