This release introduces new output cache-hit (actions/setup-python#373) and fix python-version output for PyPy (actions/setup-python#365)

Hm, this change introduced a python-version
, which is supposed to be passed as an argument for the action setup. The action people write
The python-version input is optional. If not supplied, the action will try to resolve the version from the default .python-version file. If the .python-version file doesn't exist Python or PyPy version from the PATH will be used. The default version of Python or PyPy in PATH varies between runners and can be changed unexpectedly so we recommend always using setup-python.
I would add a version, but I'm not sure which one to set. Maybe just
- uses: actions/setup-python@v4
with:
python-version: '3.x'
?
Looks like actions/setup-python is up-to-date now, so this is no longer needed.
