Double vision

I try to launch the game through my oculus meta quest 2 (or whatever it is called). The only problem is, that I get a double vision effect, as if I am squinting my eyes ... Yes, I tried adjusting the distance of the lenses. Yes, I tried launching the game either through SteamVR or the Oculus App thingy (deleting the correspondingly opposite dll files). How can I fix this?

PS. When I launch the game, the view seems like it is zooming in slightly. Then the game launches and everything looks like I am squinting my eyes (I see everyting double and mostly overlapped, but not perfectly as to get a single 3d image....)

I am going to assume you have the cancerous SteamVR Theater growing a brain and messing up your game. Make sure to go in Steam settings and uncheck this option.

I fixed my double vision problem by turning ray tracing off in the graphics options tab in the options menu. Hope this helps.
