Don't see TemporalUpscaler in RE2 at all
Hello
I downloaded this dll file: https://github.com/praydog/REFramework/releases/download/v1.5.9.1/RE2.zip
I'm using DLSS 3.7.0 dll
But I don't see the option "TemporalUpscaler in the RE GUI at all:
What did I do wrong?
You need: https://github.com/praydog/REFramework/actions?query=branch%3Apd-upscaler
Do I have to compile it by myself?
No, click on the top entry, then scroll down to RE2 (DX12) or REBD66 for DX11 (old version)
Edit: this one https://github.com/praydog/REFramework/actions/runs/15479824076
Thank you, now it works even with DLSS4! This is soooo much better than FSR 1.0. It was a little bit confusing to find the right package.
Hello, I can't solve this. Where did you get your PDPerfPlugin.dll ?
tried a lot of files and no luck. Game just crashes.
Try this: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/502?tab=files&file_id=2293
If anyone is reading this and is struggling to figure how to download the pd-upscaler branch, you need to create a Github account to be able to download it

Could you share the specific file versions you're using? I can't get this to work with the RE2 RTX update.
REFramework loads with the 'TemporalUpscaler' option, but still shows 'Backend is not loaded, TemporalUpscaler will not work'.
- UpscalerBasePlugin 1.2.0 (have also tried 1.1.2): https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/502?tab=files
- REFramework pd-upscaler branch, release 1180 for DX12: https://github.com/praydog/REFramework/actions/runs/15479824076
- nvngx_dlss.dll 310.3.0.0
All files are located in Resident Evil root directory (where RE2.exe is located). To troubleshoot I also tried moving all files except dinput8.dll to both of the below locations but didn't solve it:
X:\Resident Evil 2\reframework\plugins X:\Resident Evil 2\reframework\plugins\UpscalerBasePlugin
I've also tried every combo I can think of using older UpscalerBasePlugin+REFramework (pd-upscaler) and nothing seems to work...maybe due to incompat with the RE2 RTX update?
