Monster Hunter Wilds is crashing.
when i put dinput8.dll to the game files the game crashes while launching.
even with the ones that worked in benchmark, crashed as well, we'll wait for the new build i guess

Yeah Wilds crashed for me just now when I put the file is the folder I was like hope its not me! no way I messed something up then went to remove it. I will update the shaders for now. it says that specific folder was updated 2 days ago so if it shows that then they did an update before release or after release it broke the file the patch.. so yeah wait. I won't play until it is fixed I will update my shaders though. I want to stream me playing...

I tried the latest nightly build 01072 but it's still crashing after ~1h of playtime or so.
Same story as B-Lach, crashing after a couple of minutes. I also had Special K loaded (visible in the crash dump), but it doesn't seem to be related as it was fine before I installed REFramework.

Do not use SpecialK, the anti-tamper was patched for ReFramework not third-parties.

This issue is not caused by Special K, the latest version of Special K also makes sure to not trip the anti-tamper and I was running it prior to installing REFramework. This crash started happening after I installed REFramework. Other people in the WSGF Discord server are also reporting crashes after trying the latest nightly of REFramework.

Unfortunately I still crash on boot when trying to use custom libraries, will any work be done to allow for that?

can I ask a queston do I only need to put the dll in the folder to fix the ultra wide issues? or do I need to put it in the plugin sectoin I see a folder in there called reframe work I dont remember putting it but it has plug in in it.

My game still instantly crashes on launch, when im alt tabbed, it seems to run fine in the background but as soon as i alt tab back in, it insta crashes

Okay I am not playing the beginning of the game yet I testing the cutscenes and frame rate. with the ultra wide fix there is a problem. The cutscenes do not show black bars it is distorted and it runs horrible some times sub 15fps or 20-35. I tested the first cutscene. when I turn off the the ultra wide fix by edited the file it is fine and the cutscene fps shoots up to 60-80 with ultrawide fix turned off and fps in the next scene after the cutscene is fine. The problem is the anti tamper of course and capcom launched pc release unoptimized for release with millions of people playing on steam... find the last antitamper will the cutscense have black bars like it normally should? or do you have to do a fix to fix that too as part of the ultra wide fix and when you find the last anti tamper will it be normal fps? I have three stuff checked in ultra wide ratio fix and the multipler is set to 1242.

With reframework my game already runs better. Had 12 crashes in 2 hours yesterday without reframework and mods, clean install.

I would rather crash every 30mins or so than not play in 32:9😂 Hope you find the fix soon

Game crashes every 10 minutes even without ReFramework this anti-tamper nonsense is getting annoying.

update loaded another optional quest worked fine quest that crashed was called Purrfect Plundering
