Update please

  1. Some dependencies are old and deprecated and fail. Can you please update since its media3 now.
  2. Can yoi also show how exoplayer can scan a local device for new playlists periodically. If there is a new playlist it will play itself and delete the old one. Means, exoplayer plays from local device folder.
  3. Also, can you please show how exoplayer should read the orientation and play full screen itself while reading the orientation.
  4. Updating the articles and code would be appreciated as well as it will give more knowledge and help.

Regarding the 2nd and 3rd points—could you please elaborate a bit more on the use case? That would help me understand it better.

  1. Can exoplayer scan a local folder and play vidros from there. Eg. If the local folder has a video video001 it should play it. If the video001 is deleted nothing should play. OR can it play a playlist from a local folder eg playlist-1 (has 3 videos).
  2. If the device is in rotated can exoplayer check the orientation and play the video accordingly eg if the device is in landscape mode then video should change itself to landscape.
