A better Build Log

Open skcy2001 opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

The build log, as of now is kind of basic and in the main itself, also it is not very user-friendly. I would like to make a clean version of it, and maybe store it in a file.

@skcy2001 can you please explain this in more detail? What do you mean by build log? And how would you be making it user-friendly?

Hey, so I was thinking of like a txt file that will be created after the arrange activity, which will have comprehensive and readable details of all files moved. This is what I meant by build log. By user-friendly I mean easy readability so that one knows which files went where and when etc.

This should be done @skcy2001 , but what would you do when the user installs ArrangePy using pip?

Maybe we should save the text file in the original directory that has to be cleaned
