Mouse clicks get held down intermittently on Sonoma

I noticed this weird scenario after upgrading to Sonoma, where if AMM is active, sometimes mouse clicks get held down instead of instantly letting it go. In other words, when I click something with the touchpad left click, it sometimes (often) gets dragged instead of it being just a regular click, so I need to left click again to let it go, and then left click again to do the actual click. It's weird and it does not happen when AMM is stopped.

Previously, I posted this as a comment here, but since some other people confirmed this behaviour, I decided to create a separate issue for this.

PS. I'm on Sonoma 14.1 (23B74) and I have not experienced a single crash. AMM v1.3.0. Macbook Pro M1

I am facing the same issue and crashes. Hardware: MacBook Pro M1 2020 OS: Sonoma 14.1.1
