Closing this as we would not be taking this. Supporting a custom templating engine is an overhead and maintaining the code is not required for the core product.

Closing this as #5420 would cover identity management problems.

@substr2837 I will close this PR for now as it has been stale for a while. If you are willing to contribute, please raise a fresh PR.

Closing this here as the rendering has been updated a lot since the 2.8.0 version and this issue is not reproducible anymore.
