Questions: Project initialization duration

Hi folks,

Thanks for your hard work building this project. We're wondering if there is a way for us to measure the TypeScript project initialization duration, and gather metrics from our developer env.

I had a quick look, and it seems that there isn't a way to subscribe to the language server form vscode extension hosts to be able to receive events or the TypeScript compiler & its language server doesn't produce any kind of events related to this.

Is this something that you or other folks have thought about, and there is a historical reasons as to not produce these events?
