All traces are currently stored in a single stream in an organization, which cannot be changed for now. We would recommend you use the service name for categorization.
Maxmind provides CSV files directly for download. Trying to automate downloading them now.
I think the reason we have this flag is that compactor does not work for older data, and it might cause inefficiency in storage and retrieval at s3 level.
