Restarting Karabiner is Necessary after System wake up - Not Responding

Curiously, it's just after this last release that offers the 'Restart Karabiner-Elements' directly in the menu, that I've had to restart it very often. It happens very often that I either wake my system from sleep or open my laptop, and none of my Karabiner modifications are working. I restart Karabiner and they are back to normal.

Prior to this update I used to sometimes see a warning or notification that a key was stuck down, and I only had to press the indicated key once or twice for Karabiner to get 'unstuck'. I haven't seen that notification since the update and I wonder if this is related, and that maybe I would be able to get my Karabiner mods "unstuck" by pressing the right key. Without the warning, however, I have no clue what to press.
