MX keys built in buttons not working after recent update

Open timokim opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

I've updated karabiner recently and suddenly, my logitech MX Keys keyboard doesn't recognize the buttons from the keyboard properly. For example, on the macbook, F10,F11,F12 are mute, decrease volume, increase volume but on my logitech keyboard, f11/f12/button are mute/decreasevolume/increasevolume. This worked fine but now, when I press the decrease volume button on my MX Keys, which is F12, it increases the volume. It seems to have inherited the built-in keyboard settings. This last button isn't even recognized by the EventViewer so I can't map it on my own.

Here are some screenshots: Screenshot 2023-01-10 at 10 59 10 AM

I understand that based on these two latest screenshots, it makes sense for my F12 to behave as increase volume but I didn't change the setting and it used to work. Any help is appreciated.

This is happening for me as well. Kind of a deal-breaker for us MX users. hopefully there's a solution.

Update of newest version of Logitech Options and installing Options plus solved the problem for me.

Any updates on this? Just encountered this end of last year. Logitech software sadly didn't help.
