Caps_lock key not detected on Event Viewer

As the title states, Im having this issue for a long period of time. I got this issue after updating my OS. Currently on Monterey 12.3 I need Caps_lock for switching profile in my customised set up - just like switching mode in vim. Other keys are detected on the Karabiner Event Viewer but it won't detect caps_lock key when pressed. Is it OS problem?
