Simple Modifications not Work When "Modify Events" checked

MacBook Prod 15 inch 2018 MaxOS Version: Monterey 12.5.1 Karabiner-Elements: 14.8.0

When I checked the Modify Events checkbox in the Devices menus, the Simple Modifications are not working anymore.

Meanwhile, if I uncheck the Modify Events, the Simple Modifications are working fine. But the Complex Modifications are not working.

I am using a standard US keyborad. My Simple Modificationssettings are left-command <-> left-option and right-command <-> right-option. Meanwhile, I wanna a PC-Style Home/End.

Before I upgrade my MacOS to 12.5.1, everything is fine. But now, I only can choose one setting between command/option mapping and PC-Style Home/End
