Globe + Focus keys aren't recognized by Karabiner

In the new 2021 14" and 16" macbook pros, the new addition of Focus mode key (F6) and Globe key (Fn) are not recognized by either the karabiner event viewer or karabiner itself.

I have the same problem, and given that there seems to be no option to disable Karabiner Elements' overriding of the function keys, I effectively can't use the focus mode key for its intended purpose while karabiner elements is running.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm on the new MBP 14" running Monterey, and using version 14.2.0 of Karabiner.

I use the Globe key (Fn) + F4 combo a lot in Excel, so it's time consuming to constantly open and close my MBP just to press that combo on the factory MBP keyboard.

Hope this gets solved soon. Would be much appreciated!! :)

The workaround to get the Focus key working is to go to "MacOS Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Mission Control" and set "Turn Do Not Disturb On/Off" to F6. Karabiner Elements should already have f6 set to f6 so Focus should automatically work after that. Function key seems to work for me. I created Fn + F1 and Fn + F2 for Increase/Decrease Keyboard Brightness and it seems to work. I'm on 14.4.0 so it might be fixed in that version.
