(Quick update, mostly have it written out, just running into some typing issues with how to get it to play nice with the ApiKey middleware's typing, will add a draft...

I finally articulated out the core issue I was hitting my head against--the way `ApiKey` is written, it expects an `ServiceResponse` replacing the right variant with the expected HTTP 403...

Just wanted to check back in @generall, any preference between these solutions?
