Bug description

happens when I have a SR range filter active and I select a recently downloaded beatmap set via the notification panel. if the game's logic to recommend me a difficulty auto-select one that falls outside the active filter range the focus fails to update correctly to that map (even though the map has difficulties within the range I want)

There's no "desync", or, you could say it's intentional. Song select is allowed to show difficulties on the left that don't show up on the carousel, like in stable.

That said, maybe song select could pick a difficulty that does match currently active filters. Maybe.

I experienced essentially the same issue in a different way. I limited star rating from [5.0 , 7.0] and when clicking the green double arrow on maps in the download panel, even though the map had difficulties within the range like 6.2 it would not display it in the carousel. The left side displays some difficulty outside my filters. The song would start playing, and if I press enter I play the downloaded map, but the carousel just stays on whatever was there before. I think it makes sense, that if the panels on the left display a certain map, that map should also be in focus on the carousel and vice versa, or at least the beatmap set if the specific difficulty is filtered out.

Previously we always showed the selected beatmap, but we don't anymore. I'm not sure we should, though. Maybe it should be shown somewhere special in this kind of case.

Needs further UX discussion.
