Bug description

Video shows what happens, but once I open the game, the brightness control becomes very unresponsive, only changing the brightness every few clicks, or sometimes not working at all. Currently on macOS Sequoia (15.0) and didn't have this issue before updating to it.

Which macbook are you on?

Also does it help if you change the game threading mode from single to multi threading or vice versa?

I'm on a 16" M1 Pro MacBook Pro

I went from multi to single threaded and it's still occurring

So weird. Feels like a macOS bug, since we don't touch this kinda stuff at all..

I have also noticed the same thing. The same also happens with the volume buttons. Once you swipe away from the game once, and go back its fixed. I kind of would understand it if it happens when using fullscreen mode, but it also happens when using borderless.

I am on a MacBook Air M3 15", multithreading enabled, if this info is needed.

@frenzibyte can you repro this one readily?

peppy avatar Feb 03 '25 06:02 peppy

I was able to repro but I'm not entirely sure what's going on there. I wasn't able to repro at first, but then I switched the game to fullscreen, and then I was starting to see what's shown above. I thought maybe it's something specific to fullscreen mode, so I quit the game and launched it again in windowed mode, and I can still repro.

I'll keep this under my list and look into it whenever I find the chance.
