just stumbled across this branch https://github.com/TheDefaultGuy/osu-wiki/blob/master/wiki/History_of_osu!taiko/en.md and i am leaving a note here so it's not forgotten. seems like a good article to eventually get in. im not sure if they intend to pr this themselves

fwiw author has quit the game a long time ago
