Contest listing should always show submission status
relevant because someone thought they submitted a map to https://osu.ppy.sh/community/contests/227, waited a month for results to come out, then discovered that their entry wasnt counted because it was deleted (accidentally, i assume)
i think it shows submission status if "voting" is not ended, but none of these contests use voting anyway, so it's in a bit of an awkward place. showing the same submission status before and after voting concludes might be an ok solution here
@ppy/team-web is this one we can add quickly? just some changes to the UX to better convey that a submission is deleted or similar.
One way would be to set voting dates to the date the result is announced instead. Or even null dates.
Seems like a weird workaround 🤔
There's no voting, so null/result day voting dates seem correct? 🤷 The message could be better though (it's already weird either way).
So to confirm, any contest which doesn't use voting should set null for the two vote date columns?
doing that will keep the submission list, yeah.
