Header images feel random or unfitting on most pages

I don't have much specific feedback here or any alternative suggestion, I just want to write an issue to see if anyone else feels the same way. it's too many images to post here, but you can see what I'm referring to by clicking through the navigation tabs and/or browsing some random forums, then look at what's shown behind the navigation area
