iPhone version can't load rom

Open mangonebula opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

iPhone XR iOS 13.3.1 When I try to load the rom from "Files," it is greyed out and I can't select it. The rom is downloaded through the files app, but inaccessible through webmsx. I also have an iPhone 6 on iOS 12 and the rom loading works just fine.

Can you check into this?

Yes, I noticed that... But believe me, its the iPhone's fault! If your phone does not know the extension of the file, the iOS Open File interface makes the file grayed and does not allow you to select it... Ridiculous, isn't it? Yes, I know... But this is iOS, what can I say... :-| This does not happen on ANY other platform.

Try to change the file extension to something more common (like TXT), and do some testing. Or maybe try to zip all the ROMs in the hope that you phone knows what a zip file is. The actual file extension does not matter to the emulator... It will always look into the file contents.

Please let me know it it works with some other file extension.
