The game Dires runs with corrupted graphics
The presentation runs fine, but when the game starts, the graphics are corrupted and the colors are incorrect.
The ROM type seems to be correctly detected as ASCII8SRAM2.
Hey sdsnatcher, could you be more specific? Like what is exactly wrong, or what is the expected behavior? As I don't know this game, I don't know what would be the correct output.
Thanks!

I'm trying to upload screenshots here, but God know why github is having trouble with them today... Maybe later?

Dires, how it looks on webMSX:
Strange, I tested it and I got the correct result. Are you using the official release? Any special configuration?

I'm using the original dump, that has the following SHA1 checksum: 1ba6b699b4e34c23ee60db4e58e1265dc03f0b50
If needed, it can be obtained at RomNation.
I tried with the default "MSX2+ America" and "MSX2+ Japan" configurations.
Did you test with a ROM version? I have a DSK version.

Yes, the ROM version. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. :)
I run some tests with the ROM version. But I don't have a clue what the problem is... It seems like a problem with the mapper logic, but it can be anything.
Any ideas?

I'm also not sure. I also suspect of the ROM mapper, but it could also be the HMMC/LMMC VDP commands.
Thanks! That is already something to investigate...
