@bughit Although the free version is not maintained on Google Play Store anymore, it is automatically pulled and updated on f-droid. Download from there!

It could technically be updated on Play Store again. It is currently meeting all the requirements as far as I can see. That was a problem previously as it couldn't meet the requirements. But, recent improvements have it good to go again (some additional ones are currently pending as pull requests).
Also, I tested signed builds recently of which it had a couple bad problems needing fixes. This too was necessary for Play Store as users there download signed builds. Signed builds are fully working with currently pending pull requests.
Since I use the app on newer Android versions, I expect to continue putting out pull requests to keep it updated in a way compatible with the Play Store. And maybe others will too. Although, never know what Google will do to ruin that and of course ppareit has to accept the pr's and release it there :)
