Tied notes

Maybe tied notes in the tablature should be drawn like in the top score Instead of

Drawing a tie in the tablature staff sounds reasonable to me - I think the current approach was just copying how PTE 1.7 displayed ties

This makes a lot of sense. Since tied and ghost notes do affect how you play it, replicating them in the tablature is a good idea. I'm hoping to learn my way around the code and help out on issues at some point, but I haven't gotten very deep just yet. I'm a very experienced coder (primarily Java, Kotlin, some Rust and Go), but I've been out of C/C++ for a very long time lol.
