Grace note, count-in and BPM

Open BigHonkinDaddy opened this issue 9 months ago • 1 comments

Description If the first note is a grace note and the BPM is something other than 120, the metronome count-in reverts back to 120 before then correctly changing the bpm just before the first note.

To Reproduce See attached video

  1. create a new PTE file
  2. Make sure metronome is on and count-in is on.
  3. change the BPM at the first note to something other than the default 120
  4. add some notes, with the very first note being a grace note
  5. play the midi player
  6. observe the count-in is incorrect at 120bpm.

Confirmed, thanks for the report!

I think the problem is that grace notes are inserted into the midi file slightly before the beat, so in this case they end up being processed before the tempo change event and cause the count-in to use the default tempo
