monospace for powerline not available [solved]

Open mihaicris opened this issue 9 years ago • 4 comments

Not an issue with the existing fonts in this project, but with a surprisingly missing font. I work with Monospace (linux environment), xfce4-terminal usually. Here is a screenshot, seems that the fonts need a patch also. I would like to contribute, how can I do it? What are the tools to edit the font? Thanks. screenshot_2015-05-11_19-49-12

Problem solved!

fc-match monospace indicated me the font used for Monospace It is: LiberationMono-Regular.ttf: "Liberation Mono" "Regular" which exists in powerline fonts package as Liberation Mono for powerline (which is almost the same, some minor differences). hw4aar

For future reference, "Monospace" isn't a font. http://askubuntu.com/questions/115131/monospace-and-ubuntu-mono

@wxv The answer there is slightly wrong. There is a font named Monospace. Though your assumption is right since user is using "Liberation Mono"

Is Monospace really same font as Liberation Mono or Ubuntu Mono? In my system it seems to be linked to DejaVu Sans Mono.
