interested in PRs?
Hey, I was wondering if you are interested in receiving PRs or continued development. Because if yes I would probably make some soon, if not I might fork it or otherwise use it as a basis for adding (limited) mac support.
Hi @step21, Contributions are very welcome, feel free to submit PRs, we will check them carefully. Mac support is definitely on-purpose for the community.
Ok cool. I might also want to support two different methods for Mac (M1+). This is because while I made a python module with rust code from macmon to call private APIs directly, this sometimes breaks and f.e. currently does not work for macOS 15. Then there is the powermetrics utility, but this needs sudo to run, which is very inconvenient sometimes. Better names for the module welcome, as it right now only serves to abstract the mac and rust stuff.
Sounds good, it looks relevant for the community I believe. I might be good to tag the reported measurements with the associated "energy provider".
