Why generation costs in IEEE-118 case and some other cases are linearized?

I'm confused which data to use for the IEEE-118 case data, MATPOWER or pglib. The former has quadratic costs while pglib seems have linearized them.

Typo in OPF formulation in README

Equation (5) currently contains the term $-\mathbf{Y_i}^s|V_i|^2$. However, I believe this should be $-(\mathbf{Y_i}^s)^*|V_i|^2$ -- that is, the shunt admittance should be conjugated.
