Is homebridge messenger still supported/working?

I am using the pushover plugin on my HB server, works fine. Saw your app and would really like the additional email functionality . Disabled pushover, installed messenger and configured the pushover section and email, not IFTTT. the button push and stay lit unlike the pushover which turned off almost immediately. Neither the pushover or email notifications work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
