Is the HSTS for Custom Domain still a problem?

I saw on the referral link that the HSTS for Custom Domain on App Engine is not a problem anymore. Does anyone confirm about this? If there's no more problem then someone should edit and update the README.md

Last time we tried this (August 2016) it still required sending an email to Google.

Want to make a pull request for adding it to the README? 😀
