Dear Postman Support Team,
I am encountering an issue while trying to run Postman's Postman API testing tool. When I attempt to log in, I am redirected to a screen that says, "You are online. Now you can switch to a workspace to collaborate and sync your work. Switch to Workspaces." However, when I click on "Switch to Workspaces," the transition is rejected without providing any specific error message or explanation.
I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Postman application. Cleared the cache and reloaded the application by going to "Help > Clear Cache and Reload." Updated my macOS to the latest version (14.3). Checked the application logs for any relevant information (main.log). Unfortunately, the problem persists, and I am unable to access Postman's workspace functionality. Below is an excerpt from the main.log:

I attempted several solutions without success:
- Deleted and re-signed into the app
- Restarted the OS
- Updated the OS
- Installed other Postman apps
- In Postman, tapped Help and cleared the cache
Encountered a white screen freeze. Initially used the browser, and it suddenly started working on its own. 😅 Two days later, faced the issue again when changing teams, but it resolved itself after a while.
My advice is to use either the browser or the Postman VS Code extension until the issue is fixed.
I'm experiencing the same issue. I think I'll just use the VS Code extension for now, as I can't get past the screen below after clicking on 'Switch to workspaces' on the desktop app.

Hi @mmusin , could you please share what's the app version and share your app logs if possible?
In my case, the problem seems to have been due to a firewall issue. When I logged in to the browser and was redirected to the Postman app, Windows would display a Windows Security alert, but it no longer appeared.
Maybe because I had it enabled before, but I had many older versions of Postman in the firewall policies. So, what I did was the following:
Windows Security > Firewall and Network Protection > Restore Firewalls to Defaults.
Then delete the directories:
- C:\Users\user\Postman
- C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Postman
Then restart the PC and reinstall Postman again.
