can make pg_variables globally visible

Hello, It is very interesting idea. But for know we haven't such plan, since it requires to implement a concurrency access. Is it possible to you to hold some long-lived session which could be accessed by your application?

Hello, Even if I hold long-lived session，Because of pg_variables is session-only visibility. The other session can not fetch data from the long-lived session。
