Omxplayer and bluealsa

Omxplayer can only sometimes play audio over bluetooth, when also connected to HDMI. Using the parameter -o alsa:bluealsa I can play the audio over bluetooth, but most of the time it doesn't work. I can get it to work by playing around with the 1 and 2 buttons, but then it goes out of sync. Any ideas on how to fix this?
