Did you test with latest firmware, `video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60D` and hdmi cable unplugged? I assume you can test whether it is happy or not by ssh-ing in and checking dmesg.

I would say that is working. Plug in hdmi at this point - do you get an image? Now reboot and ssh in and run dmesg. Are there errors?

In the last case does unplugging and replugging hdmi have any effect? Not seeing much difference in demsg for working vs not working. I'd like you to get the failing...

Does edid look correct? e.g. compare `md5sum /sys/devices/platform/soc/soc\:gpu/drm/card0/card0-HDMI-A-1/edid` when you are booted with no display (AVR connected) and `video=HDMI-A-1:1280x1024@60D` and `drm.edid_firmware=edid.dat`. And then run again with the config.txt lines removed...
