[Feature Request] OLED gaps.
Here is a humble feature request on behalf of OLED-tv owners. As you probably know displaying static images for long periods of time can introduce a burn-in effect on certain brands of oled panels. Often tvs have a 'pixel shift' feature or static image dimming, which are supposed to mitigate some of these effects, as well as brightness limiters of various kinds.
What I propose is an additional option to the pop-shell tiling mode called 'dynamic gaps' or something similar and or dynamic view. This simple toggle would periodically do gap-shifting to a degree specified by the user e.g. 5 pixels max, with a 1 pixel step. Or reduce the available screen resolution and shift the entire viewport.
This is just an idea, but since I am looking to buy an OLED I thought using it with pop-os and a bright active hint may pose some issues. I hope this gets implemented.
Cheers!
