Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME): I don't know which package is responsible for window tiling.

Issue/Bug Description: I'll attach a short video: tiling_problem.zip

Steps to reproduce (if you know): I just open virtualbox.

Expected behavior: Have the virtualbox window stay on fullscreen

Other Notes: It was working about a month ago. Not sure what happend...

I also see this and many seemingly related issues very often. I came to git issues to look for related tiling reports like this. I'm seeing fewer than I expected. The tiling issues are the single biggest problem I've experienced as a new user of PopOS. Tiling is constantly behaving in buggy ways. I've documented some of the issues I think might be related in the forum post below.

I am also experiencing other tiling issues, but I have not opened another bug report. This one got not response, so I did not invest any time into figuring out how to reproduce the other issues I am seeing.

For what it is worth: It seemed to work much better with 20.04, maybe that is an option for you.

I have just run an update and the tiles are behaving oddly: when I put them in full screen, if I hover over them with the mouse, they resize into small windows. I don't know how to reproduce this, sorry. I hope the problem will be resolved for the better.

These are the package that were updated recently

I know that this (#1147) issue was created before the following one:

but since there's more activity over there, I think it's safe to close this one in favor of it. What do you think @mmstick?
