Unable to login or turn screen on when letting screen turn off after boot-up

When initially booting up the computer the login screen is displayed, if you don't login before the screen turns off you will not be able to turn the screen back...

In a light themed shell, notifications with emojis are colored quite dark because it takes the text color tint (black text on light background...therefore dark emoji) Upstream issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/850

i sometimes can't login after reboot without removing `.local/share/gnome-shell/notifications` first, else it causes boot loop. Current and two month old `notifications` files that caused problem: https://github.com/tuxutku/myrepository/tree/master/pop_os-issue
