Clicking an application folder makes background app icon's size bigger
Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release
):

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME
):

Issue/Bug Description:
Whenever I try to click a application folder from the "Show application"->"All", the icon size of every app in the app folder as well as apps in the background increases and do not even for the resolution, it is annoying. BTW, my screen resolution is 1366*768. I have posted it in the pop!_os inn reddit too. Reddit link : https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/ieyim4/just_installed_pop_os_2004_whenever_i_click_any/
Expected behavior:
icon size should remain the same, only the folder would expand, make it like Ubuntu 20.04.
Other Notes:
Ubuntu doesn't create any problem.
I'm not able to replicate this. Is this still an issue?
I have the same exact problem, same resolution. I just hate this bug, and haven't been able to solve it.
I can recreate this on Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS with a screen resolution of 1360x768 or 1366x768. Happens in NVIDIA mode and Integrated (Intel) mode. Doesn't seem to happen on 20.10.
I'm moving this to the gnome-shell
repo for now, since that's what provides the app grid. (I tried changing the shell, application, and icon themes to Adwaita, and the issue still occurred, so it doesn't seem to be a Pop theme issue.)
