Holding down left click while taking a screenshot will make the DE unresponsive

Issue/Bug Description:

Holding down left click while taking a screenshot (print) will make the whole desktop environment 'hang', it will be unresponsive until the system is rebooted.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

1. Hold down left-click
2. Press 'print' to take a screenshot
3. The DE will hang the moment you start dragging for selecting the area

Expected behavior: The system is supposed to simply save the image and allow us to crop/modify it regardless of whether left click is pressed or not.

Other Notes: The only way to reboot the system without physical access is to switch to a different tty (Ctrl+Alt+F3) and reboot it there.
