Highlight color in gedit does not match overall theme

Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release): Pop!_OS 19.04

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME): gedit

Issue/Bug Description: The highlight color in gedit with the Pop Light theme appears to be darker than that same similarly colored blue when highlighting in other applications. Potentially this also applies to the Pop Dark theme as well.
