Random Freeze

I just updated today and while using my browser the whole desktop just froze. I could not move my mouse, I could not use my keyboard, no alt+f2 no alt+r no ctrl alt del. I could not switch workspaces, though I could still hear audio. I ended up having to hardware restart.
