I suggest that Pop OS provides a tool to draw on the screen similar to Zoomit that exists for Windows.

I you search for Gromit-MPX in the pop-shop you will find a tool which does what you want :)

@jmbuhr the Gromit-MPX doesn't attend what I proposed, it is only for freehand drawing.
