[Bug] Last line of stdout disappears after maximizing window

Open taivlam opened this issue 7 months ago • 0 comments

Describe the issue

After executing the command $ ls -al, I display all files in the present working directory. After maximizing the terminal emulator window with Mod+m, the last line of stdout disappears. However, everything works fine again once I execute $ ls -al one more time.

Please see the screen recording below: https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/70524d05-52c2-4edc-a058-d600a077dee6

What I expected

The number of lines in stdout should be constant, regardless whether or not the COSMIC Terminal window is maximized or not.

System details

  • Hardware: HP Dev One
  • OS: Pop!_OS 24.04 (COSMIC Alpha 7, with latest updates)

Note

This was discovered while attempting to use COSMIC Terminal to further inspect pop-os/cosmic-files#999.
