[BUG] On alt+tab terminal ignores all keyboard input until I press escape or click it

This doesn't happen when I focus the terminal using the pop os tiling manager (super+arrowKey). The focus needs to be changed using alt+tab. The terminal also slightly changes color when I "break the barrier."

It doesn't matter how the terminal loses focus, only how it gains it.

I have also just now found that screenshotting while the terminal is focused also "breaks the barrier."
